At Knight Point Systems, team members are able to make a difference in both the workplace and their communities by taking advantage of the organization’s philanthropic efforts. KPS was founded by a service-disabled veteran who made a commitment when the company was started to give back to our nation’s veterans and wounded warriors.
Knight Point has also contributed countless hours to support other philanthropic initiatives. At the start of each year, each of KPS’ geographic regions is given a budget to apply toward local initiatives. These requests go through a basic approval process and then team members go to work!
In the past, some of the various requests have resulted in donations of supplies to the Ronald McDonald House, board games for the Fisher House at Walter Reed, support of a Boy Scout Troop to replace damaged equipment, funding for a “Boxes for the Troops” day at the home office where family members packed and made cards for our deployed soldiers over the holidays, funding for a sandwich drive for a local homeless shelter, trips with outpatients at Walter Reed to Army/Navy events, concerts at Wolf Trap, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Baltimore, and the “Monster Truck Jam” at the Baltimore Ravens stadium. These are just a few of the ways that KPS team members make a difference in the community!
